A little bit of brainstorming

It’s been only one year and seven months since the first post — what’s that compared to the infinite time of the universe? :))
But… but today is the day. Okay, I’m lying a little bit — I’ve already started. I’m in the brainstorming phase: choosing technologies, finalizing the features I want to have in the game, and beginning to create assets in Blender.
Yes, it’s happening!

Sometimes when I start a new project, I use mind mapping software to organize my thoughts. This time, I used the free version of XMind — here’s the link: https://xmind.com.

Please bear in mind, this is only the beginning 

I’ll begin with two tasks:

  1. Creating a system to generate planets (aka worlds) for players.
  2. Working on assets in Blender.

I’ll be switching between these two tasks. I don’t use Blender very often, so I’ll be learning as I go. Also, from my research and brainstorming with ChatGPT, the world-generation algorithm won’t be easy either — but it’s a must for the game. 🙂
